Part of iPort software. iPort Scanner is an extension for registering localtalk and for setting Appletalk to the users last saved preference on the iPort. The iPort Scanner has replaced the Appletalk Enabler. The iPort Scanner enables or disables Appletalk over the iPort based on how the user last set AppleTalk in the chooser or Control Strip. There were also some small changes to the iPort Control.
